The Process

Call us (518) 952-4849 or email us [email protected] for an appointment.

Please bring your insurance cards (Primary and Secondary) with you to the first appointment. Our staff can verify your insurance coverage and tell you if you have a diabetic footwear benefit.  You may have a co-pay which is due at this visit.

If possible, please bring a prescription or a Statement of Certifying Physician for Therapeutic Footwear to the appointment. If you are unable to obtain either before your appointment, we will contact your physician directly for the prescription.

At the appointment, a certified pedorthist will gather a history, do a thorough foot evaluation, measure both your feet, and take a foam box impression of both your feet.

When the shoes and inserts are received, you will return for a shoe fitting appointment.  Medicare requires that all footwear and inserts be fitted.  Items cannot be shipped to you without proper fitting.

Most insurance provide a diabetic footwear benefit annually so you may be eligible to return within one year.  If you have questions regarding your insurance, you may contact our office at 1(518) 952-4849.

Your satisfaction is our priority.
